If end users are behind any firewall, they still can make calls with iTel Mobile Dialer, if their service provider offers iTel Byte Saver in combination of iTel Mobile Dialer Express. It functions on HTTP tunneling technology. It establishes an HTTP tunneling between it and iTel Mobile Dialer to pass through any firewall.

With iTel Byte Saver, users can save bandwidth usage by more than 50% at the originating. iTel Byte saver works on award winning Byte Saving Technology. This helps end users make smooth call even if GPRS service providers supply less bandwidth. Low bandwidth consumption also helps end users to cut their GPRS bills by a significant amount.

With iTel Byte Saver, end users can change the mode of Internet service from GPRS to WI-FI or vice versa, without dropping the running call.

iTel Byte Saver® provides NAT support to iTel Mobile Dialer® thus preventing one way voice problem. It provides enhanced voice quality to both, the caller and the receiver with efficient implementation of Jitter buffer and silent suppression & comfort noise generation technology for better voice experience.
Another important feature of iTel Byte Saver is that it can auto detect the hang call and can drop a call if there is no voice for a specific duration.

iTel Byte Saver works efficiently between iTel Mobile Dialer and Operator’s soft switch. Calls that come from the iTel Mobile Dialer are passed on to iTel Byte Saver and then onto operator’s SIP switch. Calls are then registered at and authenticated directly by operator’s SIP switch. Here iTel Byte Saver acts as a media for HTTP tunneling, NAT service and bandwidth management to make it a smooth calling experience with enhanced voice quality and enables it work efficiently even in low bandwidth scenarios.
